This powerhouse ensemble brings together five master musicians whose artistry spans jazz, classical, and global traditions. Trumpeter Rex Richardson is internationally recognized as a trailblazing soloist, equally at home in jazz clubs and concert halls, with a virtuosic style that defies boundaries. Tenor saxophonist Charles Owens contributes his signature soulful sound and fearless improvisations, while Serbian-born pianist Dimitrije Vasiljevic brings a cosmopolitan edge, blending classical refinement with lyrical jazz expression. Bassist Randall Pharr grounds the group with warmth and agility, drawing on decades of experience as a performer and educator.
